Quercus Classic
Design Parquet
Honest craft, natural value, timeless design
About us
The natural beauty of wood. Craft that lets it show.
Quercus Classic Floors continues a long family tradition of working solid oak, founded by Václav Karkoš senior. Today the next generation carries it on with respect for honest craft, quality materials and timeless design.
We are based in Karlštejn, where both our workshop and showroom are located. We specialise in solid oak parquet and table tops made from carefully selected Czech oak from the forests of the Kinský family. We believe natural wood represents a value that lasts decades — through its durability, its unique grain and its ability to give an interior character and warmth.

What we do
Wood floors
We compose grain and dimensions around your room, not around stock formats. A floor made for decades.

Staircases
A bespoke staircase in the same oak as the floor. Each step worked on its own, so the whole reads as a single piece.

Table tops
We compose the top from boards chosen to match in grain and tone. A table a family gathers around for years.

Restoration
We give an old floor its beauty back and protect it with a new finish. No demolition and no moving out.
