About this project
A Versailles panel floor. We drew the layout so the panels line up with the axis of the doors and no off-cuts are left at the skirting. Under the bookcases the floor is laid with the load of full shelves in mind, so it will not sag over time. The finish is oil in two coats and the surface runs on unbroken, with no threshold strips between rooms.
